What is happening in your local music scene right now?
We are currently creating new jazz-focused events that combine vinyl DJ sets with live jazz band jam sessions.
We hope the scene continues to grow and that we’ll have the chance to play in more countries such as Japan and across Europe.

It’s the best music scene.

Feria de Tristan Narvaja— Montevideo
There aren’t that many record shops here, but I think the best digging spot is “La Feria” at the street market.

What is happening in your local music scene right now?
Uruguay has many talented electronic music producers, but almost everything happens late at night. Montevideo lacks daytime spaces such as listening bars, and too many promoters seem to prioritize social media engagement and crowd size over musical quality.

La Washington Pulpería— Punta del Este
I've been keeping to myself lately, but La Washington Pulpería in Punta del Este is probably the closest thing Uruguay has to a true listening bar. It also has my favorite music selection.

El Flaco always gives personalized recommendations based on each customer's taste, making record digging a uniquely welcoming experience.

Miles Davis, Eduardo Mateo, Opa, Milestone, Blue Note, and all kinds of jazz fusion and folk fusion music.
Latin and experimental sounds from around the world, along with funk and soul, continue to inspire us.

What are your musical roots?
During my teenage years, Argentine rock was the music that left the deepest impression on me. In my twenties, I discovered dub, and it became the key that opened up a whole musical universe, one that continues to inspire me to this day.
