
Originally from Sichuan Province, China, Bugs Bunny discovered the deep historical connection between HipHop and Latin culture, which sparked a lasting passion for Latin music.
Currently based in the Kansai region of Japan, he performs across the country as well as throughout mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
He also runs “El Ritmo,” a vinyl-only Latin party held in Kyoto.

While rooted in house, techno, and minimal, he frequently traverses various genres such as jazz, ambient, new age, and world within a single set, layering sounds gradually to craft a seamless flow.
This approach is also reflected in the party “todo vale,” which he hosts at DNA Paradise in Kiyamachi, Kyoto. The event features a diverse lineup of multi-faceted players, exploring everything from dance music to deep listening in an expansive, genre-crossing experience.
He has a strong preference for long mixes and blends, constantly seeking new ways to express himself through transitions, balancing both precision and unpredictability.

Based in Kyoto and primarily a woodworking artist.
Since the 1990s, he has been captivated by Japanese music (“Wa-mono”) and has organized and participated in DJ events across Kansai.
Currently active in Kyoto, his focus is on Wa-mono, vintage music, and the 1960s scene.
His passion for monaural recordings from the 1950s has led him to appreciate their deeply resonant, natural sound, poetic lyrical expression, and the craftsmanship evident in their visuals, such as cut-and-paste fonts and two-tone printed sleeves, treating these 7-inch records as works of art.
In 2023, he released his first mix cassette, “SKIYAKI45,” through STUDIO MOJO.
Due to its popularity, the second installment, “SKIYAKI45 Vol.2,” followed in 2024, with Vol.3 currently in preparation.

A pioneer of Japanese ambient DJs, he has been performing at numerous rave parties since the early 1990s.
He has participated in many bands, including SOFT, AOA, Based on Kyoto, and Churashima Navigator.
Founder of the Okinawa-based bass music label “budryukyu” and the Kyoto-based electronic music label “Matsunomi to Senso”.
As a mastering engineer, he has worked on vinyl mastering for labels such as 17853 Records and Crosspoint, contributing to various reissue projects.
