Based in Shizuoka and rooted in the “black music” she grew up with, HAL brings a free, unbound playing style to her sound, gently capturing the morning hours when the heat and euphoria of the night slowly dissolve, and both body and mind drift back into everyday life.
I freely packed this mix with music I want to listen to in the moments after the party fades, as I slowly return to everyday life.
It’s made to accompany that soft, comfortable in-between time, the gentle transition from the end of the night back into the day, and like the scent of morning incense, to calm the mind and reset the senses.
