Ethereal Awakening of Spring
Based in Miura, Kanagawa, Jesus Weekend, the solo project of musician Seira Nishigami, invites listeners into a meditative experience where the sense of time seems to warp through her distinctive soundscapes, here portraying a gentle warmth drifting in the in-between of spring as the tangible and the ephemeral dissolve into one another.
Forms and fleeting things.
I selected these tracks while imagining sounds with their own backgrounds dissolving into one another, gently touching a warmth within the in-between of spring.
